That spirit is now finding new expression through a partnership close to our hearts—with Send Me, an organization bringing hope and healthcare to Joyabá, Guatemala.
The Joyabá Project: Hope Taking Root
Earlier this year, members of our leadership team traveled to Joyabá, a small village nestled in the Guatemalan highlands. There, among the K’iche’ people—hardworking families and neighbors who face deep challenges—we witnessed something remarkable: joy, resilience, and faith that thrive despite the odds.
Send Me is working alongside local leaders to make lasting change. They’re training Guatemalan medical professionals, running mobile clinics, and laying the groundwork for a permanent hospital that will bring accessible, sustainable healthcare to thousands. Construction is set to begin in 2026, but the work is already alive—one tent clinic, one patient, one story at a time.
How Atmos Members Can Be Part of the Story
This isn’t just their mission—it’s an invitation. Here’s how you can be part of something truly meaningful:
1. Serve in Guatemala.
Medical professionals and volunteers can join a Send Me medical trip to Joyabá. In just one week, these teams treat hundreds of patients and equip Guatemalan doctors who will one day lead the new hospital. It’s an experience that changes the giver as much as the receiver.
2. Help Build the Hospital
Every contribution—big or small—brings the vision closer to reality. The founders of Atmos are committed to supporting this project, and we invite our members to join us in giving toward lasting impact. Together, we can help create a space of healing and dignity that will serve generations.
Giving with Intention
For those who already give through a Donor Advised Fund (DAF), you can support Send Me directly while maximizing your impact. A DAF allows you to make a charitable contribution, receive an immediate tax deduction, and recommend grants to organizations like Send Me over time.
